I'm Dr. Andrew Allen. Like most veterinarians, I got into this work because I love animals and the people who care for them. Double A is my one-truck mobile practice — when you call, you get me, 28 years of large-animal experience, and occasionally a couple of small helpers.

Meet your vet

A farmer who never really left the farm.

Dr. Allen grew up on a farm in Southern Idaho raising his own cattle, sheep, and horses. He graduated from Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine, completed a residency in large-animal internal medicine and a PhD, then spent 13 years on the WSU faculty training the next generation of vets — before trading the classroom for a truck and the open roads of Central Oregon.

When he's not working, he's flyfishing, chasing bird dogs, or coaching his kids' soccer.

Monday – Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

After-hours emergency care is available Monday through Thursday for established clients.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service, unless we've made arrangements before the visit.
